Scott Roberts Owner of The Salt Lick Restaurant Shares a Special Treat with Guests of Discover Texas Wine Tours

DSC_0802DSC_0799DSC_0780Discover Texas Wine Tour embarks on another Hill country wine tour adventure. It was 10:30am and time to hit the Dripping Springs Wine Trail. First stop Bell Springs Winery, then onward to the Texas Hill Country Olive Company. It’s mid afternoon, and time for another tasting and lunch at the Salt Lick Cellars in Driftwood. Once we arrived our group was seated on their large wood deck nestled under a 100 year oak tree for a wine tasting Salt-Lick-Style. After being served our tasting table side by Cellar Master Jennifer. Our wine tour group had the unexpected pleasure of meeting Scott Roberts the owner of the world famous Salt Lick BBQ Restaurant. Next, Scott had a Brisket brought directly from the pit to our table. Scott shared a personal favorite brisket pairing. It was delicious…YUM!
